Apple Time Capsule HDD/802.11n Backup System: Apple’s Time Capsule is a full Airport Extreme base station using 802.11n technology. It has one WAN and three LAN Ethernet ports, and also includes a 500GB hard drive for backup storage. Backup is provided for Time Machine Mac OS X Leopard computers via the wireless network, and for other computers (Mac or PC) via the Ethernet ports. The unit also has one USB port for connecting a shared printer, additional hard drive, or hub for other devices. The Time Capsule uses WiFi Protected Access (WPA/WPA-2) and 128-bit WEP encryption with built-in NAT firewall supporting NAT-PMP. It operates at frequencies of 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The unit also has a self-contained power supply and is also available with twice the hard-drive capacity (1.0 TB). Sharp SH905i UMTS Phone: The Sharp SH905i Flip/Swivel mobile phone and terrestrial TV claims to be the first in the world to offer Dolby Mobile Technology to enhance the sound of music and live TV. For all viewing, the SH905i sports a 3-inch VGA AQUOS display (2k:1 claimed contrast ratio) utilizing Sharp’s proprietary vertical alignment technology called “Mobile Advanced Super View” to enable wide-angle viewing. Other features include “Touch Cruiser,” an interface similar to the touchpads on laptops, a Manga book reader, 3.2MP camera, IrSimple & IrSS for wireless transfer of photos to printers, HSDPA for high-speed data transfers (up to 3.6Mbps), music player, full Web browser, and Mobile Wallet (i.e., DCMX iD, DoCoMo’s mobile credit-card service).
