Portelligent operated as an independent information services company until its acquisition by United Business Media in November 2007.

Portelligent now belongs to the TechInsights group of United Business Media.

Portelligent is a business-to-business (B-to-B) information services provider specializing in product teardown analysis for consumer electronics. Our customer companies span the full spectrum of the "food-chain" of the electronics industry, and apply product teardown data throughout the product lifecycle.
