Portelligent Product Profile Database:
Portelligent stores the information that it develops in performing product teardown analyses of consumer electronic products in its industry-leading Product Profile Database. As of March 2006, the Product Profile Database included key metrics and descriptive information on over 400 products, including data on over 9000 ICs.
Portelligent Data Access Tools:
The Data Access Tools provide Portelligent customers with a quick and easy mechanism to tap into the contents of the Product Profile Database. Each tool is designed to answer a particular question, or serve a specific information need.
- Feature-Set Search Tool - click here (requires login) : The Portelligent Feature-Set Search Tool helps customers to quickly search the Portelligent library of over 500 product teardown analyses and identify groups of products that include a specific feature, or combination of features. The tool helps answer the question, "Which products that Portelligent has analyzed over the years match my criteria?". The Feature-Set Search is available to Portelligent Channel Licensees.
- IC Locator Tool - click here (requires login) : The Portelligent IC Locator Tool allows customers to research the Portelligent product teardown library when they are looking for known ICs. Answers the question: "In which products has Portelligent seen this IC?" The IC Locator is available to Portelligent Channel Licensees.
- Module Finder Tool - click here (requires login) : The Portelligent Module Finder Tool permits users to search the contents of the "Modules and Odd Components" BOM tables from product teardown reports. Answers the question: "In which products has Portelligent encountered this module or component?" The Module Finder is available to Portelligent Channel Licensees.
- Die Photo Library - click here (requires login and license extension) : The Portelligent Die Photo Library Tool allows customers to search Portelligent's library of die photos and display these images on screen. Addresses the question: "What is the internal architecture and what are the primary functional blocks of this IC?" The Die Photo Library (DPL) is available to Portelligent Channel Licensees who have exercised an option to include DPL in their license coverage.
- System Cost Summarizer - click here (requires login and license extension) : The Portelligent System Cost Summarizer Tool permits customers to rapidly retrieve a summary of Portelligent's cost estimates for the major contributors to specific target products, including display module, camera module, battery pack, and total cost. Addresses the question: "What are the primary contributors to the manufacturing cost of the product of interest?" The System Cost Summarizer (SCS) is available to Portelligent Channel Licensees who have exercised an option to include SCS in their license coverage.

Portelligent Database Extracts:
Portelligent Database Extracts provide customers with sub-sets of the Product Profile Database in Excel format. Database extracts are organized around device and product categories (for example, Memory ICs in Cellular Handsets).
